to be complimentary midwifery/obstetric care.
The
application of shiatsu ranges from preconception and fertility
treatment, treatments addressing specific health concerns throughout
the pregnancy, during labour, and post-natal period.
Shiatsu
Treatment may assist with some of the discomfort experienced during
pregnancy, such as morning sickness, back ache or tiredness. Shiatsu
may also help increase the mother's body awareness during this time,
and help bond with the baby in the womb.

About the therapist:
All treatments carried out by Steven Booth (Diploma of Health - Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies). Steven is a professional member of S.T.A.A (Shiatsu Therapists Association of Australia).
He completed his Shiatsu training in 2003, and has completed additional training in the use of shiatsu therapy during pregnancy with Suzanne Yates of 'WELLMOTHER'.

He is married to Sheree Stewart, a doula/midwife, (visit her site: BirthSong)so has naturally developed a special interest in the treatment of pregnant women.
Steven is also a father of four children, with the latest addition free-birthed at home (see video: Sage's Journey to Freebirth)
